To Autumn

Even if something is left undone,
Everyone must take time to sit still,
and watch the leaves turn.
(Elizabeth Lawrence)

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came-
The Chestnut, Oak and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand.
Miss Weather lead the dancing.
And Professor Wind the band.
(George Cooper)

Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
but only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down today.
Nothing gold can stay.
(Robert Frost)

In memory yet green, in joy still felt,
The scenes of life rise sharply into view.
We triumph; life's disaster are undealt,
And while all else is old, the world is new.
(Issac Asimov)

We cling to our point of view,
as though everything depended on it.
Yet our opinions have no permanence;
like autumn and winter they gradually pass away.
(Chuang Tsu)

I admire the way you integrate poetry and photography. The words you source from various poems gives although more life to the visuals.

Thank you. I saw your website you take amazing pictures. Really liked them.

While taking the photographs the half remembered lines and words seem to come in by themselves. Not that I know all poems by heart :)) I am glad you like it.

Thank you. I am still an amateur photographer and am still struggling to learn the basics. But I love to capture little things that I find beautiful.

You wouldn't remember the poems had you not associated your love and passion for poems as well as the subject of the poems while reading them. Anything creative always takes birth when you are connected to the Center and what more could I say about the creativity that I see on your blog every time I read through it!

Keep up the good work. All the Best!! :)

Thank you once again...you are very kind. As far as photography is concerned I think we will always be students...learning and discovering new things about the world, ourselves and also the camera.

Hope to see more interesting work by you. Good luck!

I think we will always remain students, whether photography or otherwise. And only when we choose to remain lifelong students do we actually learn and enjoy the ups and downs through the various journeys.
